To begin, Becca will guide participants in the art of asymmetry and balance, teaching them how to design with flower frogs using freshly harvested summer florals. In the second half of the workshop, certified Sound Healing Practitioner Maria Cohen will lead a deeply calming, restorative sound bath experience designed to support relaxation and well-being. It is a wonderful opportunity for creativity, reflection, and community connection.

Join Becca as she starts her journey into weaving with willow! She is partnering with a fellow willow grower and weaver to explore and teach the magnificent art of willow weaving. This class will teach participants how to make a woven willow birdhouse.

Becca is excited to partner with Meryl Macklin, a former participant in Eleven Mile Farm workshops, to explore the beautiful art of using florals, specifically indigo, to create art! Meryl is skilled in techniques for natural dyeing and creates magnificent fabrics. Becca and Meryl will teach techniques for indigo dyeing and participants will have the chance to use indigo baths to create both a tote bag and a silk scarf.
Class registration will close September 13th as we need to order supplies.

In this unique 90-minute workshop we will highlight one of our seasonal favorites- Dahlias! Becca will discuss how they are grown, harvested and used in floral arranging. She will lead participants into the fields for hands on experience picking dahlias to use in their own arrangement. You will be provided with all the materials needed to create a beautiful centerpiece to take home to enjoy.
